Theatre Teacher
Laura Graham
Laura Graham is a theatre and movement for actors teacher. She offers individual and group classes for all ages. Laura teaches at Bak Middle School of the Arts as a resident artist in the theatre department. She also is a teaching artist for the outreach program at the Lake Worth Playhouse. Exploring characters and their emotions on stage, she believes, builds self-confidence and promotes creative expression regardless of your path in life.
Music Educator
Alondra Bahls-Mariles
Ms. Alondra Bahls-Mariles is a certified k-12 Music Educator and flute specialist based out of West Palm Beach, Florida. As a graduate of the Dreyfoos School of the Arts (2013) and the University of Central Florida (2017), she has a deep passion for inspiring students to pursue the performing arts. Ms. Bahls specializes in providing access to high-quality instrumental music in low socioeconomic communities. Since 2018 she has worked in schools across the district as a band director, parent liaison, flute specialist, and voluntary choice programs coordinator.
Her journey began in South Grade Elementary which lead to her working with the Lake Worth High School Marching Band. Her experience also includes working with local Non Profits such as Faith’s Place Center for Arts and Education, the Youth Orchestra of Palm Beach County, and Common Ground Community Development.
Her long-term goal is to develop community instrumental ensembles that support all public schools in Palm Beach County and give all students regardless of race or economic background a chance to find their individual purpose through music.
Narrative Practitioner
Derrick Hatch
Derrick Hatch is an award-winning educator, teacher, podcast host, musician, and Narrative Practitioner. His company All Things Narrative creates spaces for people’s stories to be told and lived meaningfully. He does this through coaching programs, workshops, classes, and the All Things Narrative Podcast. His education includes a Master's in Narrative Therapy and Community Work from the University of Melbourne and a Bachelor of Ministry from the Antioch School of Leadership Development. In 2018, he was awarded the “Next Generation of Leaders” Award by the National Afterschool Association; and in 2020, he was awarded the “Beyond the Call of Duty” Award by Prime Time Palm Beach County. In his spare time, he enjoys reading, playing drums, visiting underprivileged children as a Spider-Man cosplayer, teaching at the Bridge Church, and spending time with his wife and two daughters.
